Romantic Hindi Poet

For someone to come from a civil engineering background, pivoting his career into romanticism is not a mere cakewalk. Then you have Amit Kumar Aazad , who kept the poet in him alive throughout his journey as a student, engineer and teacher and pursued his passion with complete diligence. He has participated in poetry recitations in Kavi Sammelan organised on Doordarshan Bihar Channel, in Various cities of India and performed in various colleges including IIT Delhi, IIT Goa, IIT Patna, NIT Trichy, NIT Calicut, NIT Bhuvaneshwar, NIT Delhi, NIT Rourkela, IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT Vadodara, IIM Amritsar, Delhi University’s colleges and many more till the date. He is no stranger to the regular humdrums of a college. He is one of you. He is the one within you. He is the vehicle to the romance inside you. कोई सिखला गया था कल, किसी से आज करता हूँ !!
कहीं ठुकरा दिया किसी ने, किसी को भा गये कहीं पर !
तजुर्बा है कहीं का और, कहीं रियाज़ करता हूँ !!”

THE JOURNEY

Student Life

What started as a love for sifting his thoughts and turning them into expressions, has now become a full-fledged career choice for Mr. Aazad. He started writing at the young age of 12 years and in no time did pen and paper become his best friends. He would write for his heart’s content and for the joy of his small audience.

College Life (NIT Trichy)

This is exactly when his passion for poetry really kicked off. As a member of the Hindi Cell of NIT Trichy, Mr. Aazad got a plethora of opportunities to present his work across Tamil Nadu. As the President of the Hindi Cell – Aayaam– he worked towards improving the state of Hindi in Tamil Nadu through teaching, poetry and managing a team of more than thirty people who were aligned to his vision. He has been the chief advisor of the Hindi Magazine ‘Pratibimb’. One of his greatest contribution to the upliftment of Hindi in Tamil Nadu was spearheading the Hindi Learning Program for people for students and teachers across Tamil Nadu. However, throughout this journey, his love for poetry and writing never withered.

Life After College

Amit Kr. Aazad joined an European Civil Engineering firm – Alstom – right after college. He Worked for a year on Kochi Metro Project. While working, there was a constant tussle between his passion and profession, and he eventually decided to choose his passion over a stable career. He returned to his root and started exploring the realms of Hindi poetry.

In this venture, he completed his “Master of Arts in Hindi Literature” to add vistas to his poetry.

AND NOW…

What started off as a hobby has now turned into profession. He loves interacting ,motivating and educating students and is currently a Physics teacher at well known institute “PHYSICS WALLAH Pvt Ltd.”. Previously He was in “Bansal Classes Pvt Ltd. Kota”. While he teaches concepts of physics, he gathers concepts of life from the students and turns them into poetry. Neither he is a traditional Hindi Poet nor a ordinary poet. He is a poet who cracked the exam of “IIT-JEE” . He is a Bridge between science & Literature.
